iPhone-like
Android store isn't confirmed at this stage, but the following words by
project lead Andy Rubin promise AppStore like experience to the future
Google's mobile OS powered handset users:"It would be a great benefit to
the Android community to provide a place where people can go to safely
and securely download content and where a billing system would allow
developers to get paid for their effort…We wouldn't have done our job if
we didn't provide something that helps developers get distribution."...

HTC Diamonds are shipping!
HTC
Diamond fan boys, this is the news you've been waiting for. Not only
have HTC Diamond shipments started (and some stores are already selling
the device), but the Taiwan-based smartphone maker has already shipped
the first batch of over 10,000 units, according to market sources. In
Germany, HTC will co-operate with T-Mobile, where the two companies will

StyleTap's Palm OS emulator goes beyond experimental prototype; Officially coming to iPhone, iPod Touch
While
we're still waiting for the next-gen version of the Palm OS (Nova), you
may want to use some of the older Palm OS apps on other, non-Palm OS
powered devices. Thanks to StyleTap's Palm OS emulators you can do that
on various platforms. Back in February, we saw they're thinking about
porting their work to iPhone/iPod Touch, but at that point they said the
application is still in the "experimental prototype" phase without
being clear whether they'll actually release it to the general
public,...
HandyGames to release Panzer Tactics sequel
I
haven't tried Panzer Tactics myself, but according to PocketGamer's Rob
Hearn, it seemed a little bit too complex for a mobile game. Yes it's a
strategy war game and some people may like the idea, but honestly how
much time there is left in every day to play it. You want something
smaller and not that complex. Obviously, some other people dig the idea,
prompting HandyGames to release the sequel. We've no information what
it will add to the table, and the screenshots we got don't promise an
enhanced...
Nokia 7310 Classic caught in the wild
Three
days ago we posted a leaked Nokia 7310 Classic press photo. Now it's
time for some real-world experience. As you're about to see, this baby
looks much better live and I've no doubt Nokia will sell tons of these.
The materials used look just right and the overall size of the device
(or at least thickness) makes the 7310 Classic fit perfectly in one's
hand. Enjoy the phot...
